Political: CA, I'll keep my end of the deal

Starting on the inauguration day.

Congratulations!

I honestly hope President Obama does a good job. We need a very very good President.

what was the final agreement?

inquiring minds want to know
by LOANMAN November 7, 2012 2:26 PM

I have to make 10 positive Obama posts 1 per day for 10 days.

I'm thinking I'll go with the kids and the dog lol.

by trishy1010 November 7, 2012 2:28 PM

I absolve you of that bet Trishy. 10 posts is a bit much but I ask instead that you post something positive on inauguration day that promotes unity and positiveness going forward. Doesn't have to be solely about Obama either.

We still have huge problems and it's time all of us "get to work"

So just one positive post on inauguration day like demanding your GOP party work together like I will demand the same from Obama..and it's done. I hate to say it but it is time for "forward"

But whatever one positive thing YOU WISH is all I ask.

Loanman the bet was 10 positive Obama posts.. one a day starting on his inauguration day

Doesn't have to be solely about Obama either.

But needs to include him though.

by Concerned American November 7, 2012 2:37 PM

No, a deals a deal. I am sure one post a day won't kill me :) Enjoy!

by trishy1010 November 7, 2012 2:38 PM

Okay as you wish. I am glad Obama won but it is time everybody works together to solve our mounting problems
by Concerned American November 7, 2012 2:40 PM

see

both sides can play nice when they choose to

by LOANMAN November 7, 2012 2:45 PM

CA,

As long as the rest of the league will allow it, I owe you the trade of your choice. Propose anything and I will accept it.

I can say something nice about Barry. He has a cool dog, even if Bo was a gift from Ted Kennedy.

CM,

I do not approve of your trade policy with CA. Hell, I'm still pissed that your trade involving Steven Ridley and Dez Bryant went through.
by The Tolerant Educator November 7, 2012 3:42 PM

I am a free marketer and would never move to block any trade at any time by any parties...

many white people are dealing with their "inner-racist" today

many don't even realize it...

My team is sucking big time. I kinda regret the Ridley trade myself but I think Dez and the Cowboys will get on track..hopefully anyway.
by Concerned American November 7, 2012 3:51 PM

TTE,

Okay. My team looks like the Sox with the guys I have. Can't imagine what it would be like without somebody decent.
by ConservativeMe November 7, 2012 4:38 PM

CA,

That was horrible! Were you feeling pre-guilt about the election and wanted to throw Conservative Me a lifeboat?
by The Tolerant Educator November 7, 2012 4:45 PM

No CM I think Dez will be fine and I thought it was a good straight up trade and I needed a strong WR. Dez did have only one catch last week though
by Concerned American November 7, 2012 5:03 PM

I am 7-2 in my fantasy league. You should always check with TVOR on personnel moves. Many scammers out there thinking the trade is fair. Perspective is a funny thing. Please consult with a 100% disinterested professional before giving away the farm.
by the voice of reason November 7, 2012 5:06 PM

CA; The key with WR is how many passes they get per game. Shorts is worthy of consideration. Dez is a big name but the Boys have a lot of targets. Sometimes a trade is not the way to go. See who is hot and available first.
by the voice of reason November 7, 2012 5:09 PM

TTE,

You have a lot more belief Ridley's value than I do. Not that I don't think he has talent. the problem is that "Bill The Hoodie" can't be trusted to give him the ball consistently. Vereen is back and cutting into his carries and the rookie Bolden looked good before he got hurt. Not to mention with The Hoodie you are one fumble away from not seeing the ball for 3 games.

Get Ridley 20 touches a game and he can put up real good numbers. But will he get them?

by Concerned American November 7, 2012 2:40 PM

Would that be your heartfelt appeal if Romney won?
by you started it November 7, 2012 10:06 PM

Perhaps you can start by showing you really want to work together beginning with that Benghazi thing.....how bout it, care to ask your guy some serious questions?

Lead by example, okay.....
