Congratulations to President Obama

Good job, congratulations to the president and his supporters.
by Lex Parsimoniae November 7, 2012 3:23 AM

You have to give it to him. Despite the poor economic numbers he was able to win. I guess woman really do just care about abortion and birth control.

by trishy1010 November 7, 2012 8:08 AM

I believe in birth control; However, I support Public breast Feeding.

Cheers

Yep - credit where credit is due.

by MichiganTed November 7, 2012 8:25 AM

I'd like to thank George Bush for this win: he finally did something right.
by bury sean hannity at wounded knee November 7, 2012 8:29 AM

We've elected someone hell bent on robbing America's greatness. Someone who has completely failed in his first term. Congratulating this man is not high on my priority list.

by Fire for Effect November 7, 2012 8:51 AM

The bright spot is four more years of Uncle Joe - America's Funniest Vice President
by The Truth November 7, 2012 9:16 AM

So I guess Obama just inherited a terrible economy.
by capital4u November 7, 2012 9:31 AM

Congratulations to President Obama, his team and his supporters for a successfully run campaign.
Congratulations for those who fund and are the power of the republicans who successfully handed the highest office and key seats to the opposition for the second time in order to maintain the status quo. Congratulations to the people who managed to once again kick the can down the road. We get the government we apparently deserve.
by lil_oh_me November 7, 2012 9:50 AM

Why congratulate Obama? Being prez is a thankless job.

The congratulations should go to his supporters. They're the ones that want 4 more years and they're the ones that kept him in office. So congatulations to the Obama supporters.

My hope is he does reach accross the isle and does get this country back on the track that made it great and #1.

by doccustodian November 7, 2012 9:57 AM

I will not congratulate a president who deceived the majority of the people. Being a charlatan deserves no respect.

-----------------

Have you been on another planet for the past few years? The track that could be used to get this country going in the right direction is rapidly being dismantled by Barack Hussein. Good luck getting on "the right track" while it is being disassembled. The only positive progress that will be made in the next 4 years will have to be done in SPITE of Obama. Please lets not pretend otherwise.

by Fire for Effect November 7, 2012 10:34 AM

FFE, I said hope, I did not say he will.

Maybe he learned from his mistakes, I don't know, time will tell.

He's in his last term. He doesn't have to bow down to the left anymore. Let's see what happens.

by doccustodian November 7, 2012 10:38 AM

I wish I shared your optimism doc. From what I can see, the left is to the right of Obama. I don't think he has the slightest interest in reaching out. He'll now feel free to attempt to ignore the right, and all conservative ideals, completely. In order for a chance for good things to happen, one has to have good things as an objective. I'm quite certain he does not.

by Fire for Effect November 7, 2012 10:49 AM

BSHAWK you fucking moron . still cant run on what Bush did 4 years ago unless your base is truly that stupid and Democrats are. Odumba will double the national debt Bush left with from him and all predecessors combined that's what will be remembered about Obama not Obama are. He will be more reviled than W by time he's done.

I wonder if the press will start talking about Benghazi now? Probably not.

Oh well. Congratulations to Elizabeth Warren - Cherokee Nation must be insanely happy. And, special congratulations to Jesse Jackson Jr. the first person to be elected while in rehab.

I'm actually not that upset. There is a certain peace of mind in knowing you're screwed. It's the uncertainty that causes anxiety. I'll be applying for food stamps today.

HE DIDNT DO A GOOD JOB!!! Romney did a bad job. He didnt take the filthy, socialist, white hating freak to task. In the debates he didnt directly answer questions just as Oblahblah did not,and I knew at that time he stood no chance.

People of color STILL voted color even after the last 4 years. Women voted for OPuke and I thought women were harder to fool with snake oil techniques.

Im 58 and have never felt this helpless and hopeless. I actually cried when it was apparent tha twe had again been flushed down the toilet by the 50% of humans who have no clue. All you Obummer pushing foolish Dems who fought just for party sake have sentenced us to depression. Go today and pay 4 bucks for gas, almost 3 bucks for a gal of milk, do that while wondering where you will go when your home is taken by the bank and how to get you kids to a school farther from yoiur house now that their school is being shut dow. You could write a letter of protest but YOUR POST OFFICE was closed. Our country
by Cedonulli2 November 7, 2012 12:36 PM

You've fairly well described reconstruction.
Prices high enough to separate the casual from the serious providers, schools closing because geographic nicety is not a requirement for an education, subsidies removed from milk and farm products. Post office gone wild reeled back to reality and then disposed of entirely except for legitimate urban situations, the free enterprise of gas prices.

How bout you lower the price of the gas at your refinery and do us all a a favor.

The more you wallow the easier it is for those of us ahead to stay ahead.

Wake the he'll up.

Turd, I may hve you wrong and I appreciate your intelligence and insight on most things but it sounds a bit off track. You are saying we never needed the amount of schools, post offices etc etc and that we should pay 10 bucks a gal for gas?

Is this like real estate values? Prices never should have been as high as they were before the crash so its a good thing we crashed? Did you ever make money off a single real estate deal? If so, GIVE IT BACK.Your general flavor lately sounds more 'Whats best for Turdly' than 'Whats best for all citizens'. Would your position be the same if you were not well heeled?
by Cedonulli2 November 7, 2012 1:32 PM

Marv

get a tissue or something, perhaps a zoloft

if your cheese has been moved, find some new cheese

you don't have to like the guy, but your lack of respect for the office is pathetic

things change, get used to it...your 58 ... you should have learned that by now

If Turd has to give back any money from a real estate deal, you have to do BPO's for free because they are a result of those high prices and lax lending standards
by LOANMAN November 7, 2012 2:03 PM

Wow, I was going for magnanimous.

This thread really went a different way.

Loandude my reference to Turds possibly making money from the situation was a poke as his position. Didnt say I wasnt making moola off the misfortunes of others. Besides, its a dropin the bucket compared to commissionsI would have made if doing loans in a good economy.
by Cedonulli2 November 7, 2012 3:22 PM

You mistakenly think I think it is all about me. It is not about me. Since it is not about me I do not need a school within walking distance for my kids, I do not need three postoffices in a town of 25,000 and since it's someone elses oil and I have no other place to get some, I'll pay whatever they damn well want me to pay or I'll find an alternative. I will not tell them that they price too high and that record profits are not allowed and that they must support slackers such as myself. It's their oil.

It's my loan. you'll pay 10% or find someone that will charge you less. It's a choice...just like oil consumption. No one told you to move in the tules with a $45 a month savings reserve and then go RED when gas goes up a fraction.

No one told me [or yati] to drive 8.1 liter/496 cubic inch trucks at 11mpg [I am now getting a fairly soild 14mpg since the tune, AND close to 500hp]

No one told me to drink milk I cannot afford.

Living within your means does not mean that suppliers must come down to your level. Can't afford a Bentley? don't drive one. Can't afford an Escort? don't drive one.
Can't afford a bus pass? buy a bike or walk

It really is that simple. Complaining about an infrastructure change that will save a bazillion in unneeded real estate/jobs is just silly.

Saying that oil prices are anyones to set except for oil companies is a pretty silly thing to say.

Yes, things need to change FOR THE WORSE.
Higher rates
non-subsidy prices on milk
post office needs scaled back to two days a week.
$35ph union wheel lug specialists have to go.
Doctors that can't do anything past taking your temperature without refering to a specialist have to go.

It's a mambypamby world, and you appear to like it that way.

You think I'm doing fine now; you should see me when a life is at stake or your absolute destruction benefits me.

And about the money I made on realestate and giving it back. You TOTALLY misread. I am all about free enterprise and fleecing the sheep. Sheep get sheered. I'm a gasoline sheep. Some were point sheep.
You are starting to not think about priors and previous. I have never waivered on fucking the fuckable. Financially I try to pitch as much as possible but I've caught a few, a very few, and they were either to my ultimate advantage like giving up a rook so my queen could crush you, or just a common fucking as I sometimes get.

It isn't about me. If it were we would have ccc camps and unemployment money would be a loan.
