Political: Who do you have for health insurance, how much do you pay, and coverages?

Shopping for new health insurance for family. Just wondering who everyone has, what is your coverage like, and why you chose them?
It would be helpful if you provide your age too.

I'm 49 and trying to find good coverage at a reasonable monthly premium.

I'm seeing $550 to $1000 a month depending on deductibles.

Who do you have and how much?

Thanks for your assistance!

Kaiser. $1,280/mo. for our family of four. I'm 50, wife 48 and 2 young children.

$20 co-pay for minor visits, can't remember the deductable for the major stuff or hospital stays.

The funny thing is that i've never been sick a day of my life other than the usual cold.

We dropped it four years or so ago.
Put the $1100 monthly in to a separate account. Too many of you turds would spend it instead of saving it.
Neither of us have been sick in ten years Plus.
Catastrophic insurance would vaguely interest me.

Nobody, nothing, none.

Money in the bank earning interest.

turdly - I've often thought of doing EXACTLY what you currently are doing. Nothing wrong with self insuring.
