Political: FEMA out of water till Monday...

What would we do without big government...
by trishy1010 November 4, 2012 1:12 PM

It's treason. Impeach Obama for this!!

We get it really

Hint your last sentence should not have been anti gov't but pro the people. Something like pray for those without water or I feel for those folks with no water.

Except you care more about big gov't failing than the people without water.

by Concerned American November 4, 2012 1:23 PM

No, unlike you I put my money where my mouth is. We bought water, plastic gas containers, diapers and clothes and shipped it on Friday.

You can sit around and wait for FEMA but responsible people just take action.
by trishy1010 November 4, 2012 1:36 PM

Water. The most abundant resource on the planet and FEMA knew several days in advance the approximate loacation that Sandy would hit.

Heck of a job Obama!

by Steven701 November 4, 2012 1:49 PM

There are some religious organizations that have plenty of water to hand out. Why won't the government work with these groups?

You guesses it
by Dr. Branker November 4, 2012 1:54 PM

Do any of these victims of Sandy realize that they're free to go to the store and buy water and supplies with their OWN money?

by Steven701 November 4, 2012 2:04 PM

Many of the stores are empty and have been damaged themselves. If you have no transportation, no gas, no water and your local stores are closed...what are you to do?

FEMA is clearly not up to the job.
by trishy1010 November 4, 2012 2:09 PM

I hear ya trishy. I guess if Obama was to give those poor folks some cars, some gas and some money they could surely take care of themselves? LOL!

Also, since those people didn't build those stores in the first place, the govenment is responsible for the repairs, correct?

by Steven701 November 4, 2012 2:25 PM

I am no liberal...I think anyone on here will tell you that. I just believe in helping when I can...
by trishy1010 November 4, 2012 2:37 PM

hmmm... They knew in advance were it would hit and bottled water will not get there until Monday.

hmmm...the administration was notified that Benghazi was indefensible and...

The phone rings in the White House at 3AM and our people die because the White House cannot be bothered with an inconvenient truth.

by lil_oh_me November 4, 2012 2:55 PM

more like a last minute decision by our decision makers.

"why go in on a failing rescue, we'll let it run its course and deal with it accordingly, i've got a campaign i'm running right now, can't deal with this controversy. and oh by the way can you pass me a donut with that cup of coffee? and what is it we tell everyone?! oh yeah, that crazy youtube vid! good call! see why the general public should not voice their opinion?!! yeah, that's the ticket!

by dark pool November 4, 2012 3:00 PM

trishy - Nobody here could accuse you of being a liberal. I enjoy reading your posts.

Now let's get rid of Obama on Tuesday.

by Steven701 November 4, 2012 3:11 PM

Sounds like a plan Steven! I'm in VA and it is looking very very good for Romney!
by trishy1010 November 4, 2012 3:13 PM

I'm in Oregon and I can't find a Romney sign to put in my yard. But I can get a Ron Paul sign
by Dr. Branker November 4, 2012 3:39 PM

My local brewery is canning water for Sandy Victims... Million cans will help
by dead eye November 4, 2012 4:52 PM

Dead eye;
I have a set of beer bottles botled with water from the Northridge quakes in '94?

They are date stamped just like beer was[is? I don't drink beer].

A nice collectable. I've never seen any on Ebay. Might be Smithsonian stuff one day.

Yes, I did nothing for that bunch either.

by turdly November 4, 2012 10:51 PM

Dr Branker come see me, we have a large group in Tigard walking around and placing Romney signs.

Read this quote from above , people:

"Water. The most abundant resource on the planet and FEMA knew several days in advance the approximate loacation that Sandy would hit.
Heck of a job Obama!"
by Steven701 November 4, 2012 1:49 PM
