Political: Early voting you say? 27M and guess who's ahead

More than 27 million people already have voted in 34 states and the District of Columbia. No votes will be counted until Election Day but several battleground states are releasing the party affiliation of people who have voted early.

So far, Democratic voters outnumber Republicans in Florida, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina and Ohio five states that could decide the election, if they voted the same way. Republicans have the edge in Colorado, which Obama won in 2008.

OK axelrod. Don't you have church today or something?
by Dr. Branker November 4, 2012 11:43 AM

But there's a landmind for Obama.

His numbers are far below what it was in 08 against McCain.

Not only that, republican early and absentee voting is much higher than 08.

In 2008, McCain won the on the votes counted on election day, Obama beat him by his large early and absentee votes.

This year, especially with the motivated republican base and the much narrower margin between Obama and Romney, and the less motivated democratic base, this does not fair well for Obama.

What people are refusing to talk about is all the White Folks who voted for Obama in '08 just to get their "I'm not a racist card." Now they have it, they will vote their skin, just like blacks do. Sorry thing for the Blacks is they are such a minority in this Country.

No wonder the spin is in over-drive. You won't shame the White Folks into voting for the Black guy again.

this time, it's based on ability, not skin color.

Dammit Lex stop quoting from the part of the story that CA is trying to ignore.

It's really quite impolite of you.

by MichiganTed November 4, 2012 12:34 PM

What do you mean votes aren't counted until election day? a couple threads down, your boy Ancho claims to already be counting them.

I'm guessing he'll be laying low for awhile. it's going to fall on you, CA, to pump out as much lib propaganda as you can for the next two days. Losing ancho two days before the election....ouch.
by rspringer November 4, 2012 12:45 PM

You really are a broken record oh Constipated One!

I live just outside DC and it's actually a shame to have to listen to all that was promised to them of which they got nothing yet they still drink the Liberal Kool-Aid. Well, guess it's going to be another 4 years of Mayor Gray and Eleanor Holmes Norton supporting an administration that could care less about them!

by Concerned American November 4, 2012 6:38 PM

What exactly will you Obama supporters be bringing home? There is little to be proud of. Or maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Then again proof would need to say how many of those population numbers won't allow Obama to bring it home idiot

Stupid people I tell ya

Absentee ballots are perficet for democratic supporters. They don't have to get up off the couch or even put down their Quarter pounder with cheese in order to vote.
