Corrections about Oregon, licenses and credit report requirements.
I spoke with the state and its more of a fed thing but its not driven by the actual score. They look at all the derogs on a report and require explanations. Of course derogs and score are correlated---in my ways that do not make sense but they still are---so the state says it can consider how, what, why, where, etc and what one is doing to better ones situation. This gives me great hope as it was a pretty damned big pill to swallow ending a 30 year business. Even if I cant reup as my own broker I wanted to hang my license somewhere to grab possible loans while rebuilding my old, tired life.
The original threads info was given to me by a group of agents who had gone to a state sponsored meeting about new requirements. They were also pretty low at the end of it. Some used to work for me and told me what they thought it all meant.
I thank our licensing dept for giving me the scoop and have hope that I can facilitate the successful recording of notes secured by deeds of trust well into the future or until Wells Fargo pays politicians to cut us off at the knees, lol.
Both people in licensing with whom Ive spoken are sympathetic and fine folk.
So y'all have a nice weekend and Ill BBQ in the Oregon rain, wishing I could drink to toast possibly staying in the biz. After all , we real estate brokers have to slum it once in a while to stay centered. Without being around you clumsy, low life mortgage people, our heads would swell.

Isn't that what I told you? Man, you might want to put the panic button in the freezer so it has to thaw before you can hit it....

I also told you that. You hang in there, big guy, you'll be OK. I also know you're a fighter, so, kick ass, my friend.

Marv, since you are in the PNW you must have access to some nice "herbs" up there that should be able to relax you a bit. Take it easy amigo.

There aint a test made that I cant pass, no swollen head about it.
My Friday night drunk is actually 1/2 a beer! True. Wouldnt mind a Tuaca now and then but Im on blood thinner and alkyhol can change my coagulation time.
Ted it wasnt so much panic as a sad throwing in of the towel.
I know SO MANY other Orygun agents who still think they stand no chance.

I'm hearing scary stuff regarding state levels regulatory L/O approvals. Your credit report that they're requesting will be made public.
This makes sense to me from a legal perspective, since you've voluntarily offered it.
I do not know how you folks feel about your private information being made public, I'm not sending mine unless I have certain assurances.

I don't like it Mike.
Even assuming a person has perfect credit what business is it of anyone else to see what you owe and to whom?
