Political: CULT OF PERSONALITY CONTINUES...

my nod to jackstraw's earlier post. This is sickening.

the first part of the video is of the obama-jungen. If you can sit through that, you'll see something remarkably familiar.

People subjugate the collective principles of their fellow countrymen and their own humanity when they worship individuals.

...and the parents applauded...

Kinda creepy.
If my kids were still in public school, I would certainly be more vigilent about what is being taught to them by the teachers who are members of the NTU.

Our education system is riddled with socialists and it is up to us, as parents, to pay attantion and be involved in our children's education.

If we don't, someone else will and then we have lost control or even the ability to counteract the propaganda.

Don't use the school systems act as a glorified baby-sitter for you and your children/grandchildren.

This should be all over the news and the people of this country should be outraged. This is indoctrination of our children.

I say this not as a conservative but as a citizen of the United States Of America.

If Bush had done this I would have been just as outraged as I am now.

In its fiscal year 2007, the NEA spent $80.5 million — more than 20 percent of its entire budget — on "contributions, gifts and grants" that largely funded left-wing and non-education-related causes, including drives to raise the minimum wage and organizations promoting radical social issues. As a Wall Street Journal editorial noted, the union's financial disclosure forms "expose the union as a honey pot for left-wing political causes that have nothing to do with teachers, much less students."

Billy you hit the nail on the head. If I saw children being taught to worship Bush this way, I would have been pissed too. And that is the difference. Libs will turn a blind eye to this kind of crap. Conservatives find it repulsive no matter who is president.
by Mr.Wonderful88 November 5, 2009 3:19 PM

This is equivelant to singing praises to Hitler, Stalin, Chairman Mao, Castro, or any other despot.

Billy, you're absolutely correct. Regardless of where one stands politically, as Americans, we should all be outraged.

And those thinking it's not a big deal: it's just one more level of erosion to our freedoms. Unlike most dramas, we won't lose our freedoms in a bloddy revolution. Far from it.

It will be whittled away a little at a time until there is nothing...
