Great article, to line the cat box with. I love that they dwell only on the fact that those up for ethics violations are black. They act like it is a witch hunt. Rangel writes tax code and flubbed declaring over $1 million. I do see their point about they are the only ones under investigation at the moment. But come on, white people have been sent before the ethics board too. Maybe the reason they didn't end up in full blown investigations were they resigned first.

They don't even get in to the fact that most of those up for ethics violations right now appear to be guilty as hell. I guess they should get a pass because they are black. Waaaaahhhhhh. It was so much harder for me to get here. I don't know why the black members of Congress don't have as much money as the white members. It seems like they have the tax evasion, kick back thing going pretty well.

I will say that I think the ethics board should be one of the few places I would be all for increasing their budget. I think there may be one or two in Washington that aren't corrupt. Maybe. Let's give the ethics committee a major influx of the money from the stimulus and let them clean out the dirty Congress.

I am willing to take it. I think that anyone that cries about color is the real racist by definition. I am sick of it. Having to continuously look to give one group special treatment is racist. The only problem I have with what is going on is that they are not looking in to enough of our Congress members. My first picks would be Pelosi, Dodd, and Frank, they are white so maybe that will shut up all of the crooks from the article.

To add another color in the mix, I would like a scarlett letter like treatment for all of the ones found guilty of ethics violations. They would have to wear a colored letter for their crimes at all times. Maybe a tattoo like they did in the Basterds. Wouldn't it be great if they kept trying to run for office with a big blue F on their heads. "So, Rep. Rangel, why exactly do you have a big blue E on your forehead" "Well, I had a real bad bout with tax evasion. I know, I write tax code and all, but I can't be held accountable to all of those codes I write."

Black, white, red, purple, these jerks are guilty and they should be held accountable and quit saying it is because they are black. What, are we going to have to put the ethics committee through profiling classes to make them happy.
