Any LEGAL way to pay referral fee?
I know about all of the illegal ways, but I'm not interested in going down that road.

If you do commercial loans, they are not subject to respa and do not fall under the same restrictions

Doesn't the law define an illegal referral fee as payment of a "thing of value"?
From what I hear Happy's Tacos are extremely valuable.

Depends on what state you're in. In California referral fees are a major source of income for Loan Officers and Realtors.

lead fees. I pay fees on every closed lead I buy based on amount. Lead seller mandates it.
